Verik QR – Universal QR Campaign Manager

Verik QR is a multi-brand QR campaign platform. A person scans a QR code and is redirected to the right website or app store page. Behind the redirect, the platform logs the scan: location, device, browser, operating system and destination. It also fires Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics events, so each social media post or campaign has measurable reach.

Verik QR – Universal QR Campaign Manager
The Overview

Verik QR is a multi-brand QR campaign platform. A person scans a QR code and is redirected to the right website or app store page. Behind the redirect, the platform logs the scan: location, device, browser, operating system and destination. It also fires Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics events, so each social media post or campaign has measurable reach.

The Challenge

A printed or posted QR code usually gives no data after it's scanned, so brands can't tell which posts actually get attention. The platform needed to:

  • 1. Keep QR codes permanent, so a code already in print never breaks and its destination can still be changed.
  • 2. Support several brands and campaigns in one system.
  • 3. Capture scan data without slowing the redirect.
  • 4. Show the results in a clear dashboard.
  • 5. Connect scan data to ad and analytics tools (Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics).
The Solution
  • 1. Every QR code carries a unique ID (for example VK-87E322D8) and redirects through the platform. Destinations can be edited without reprinting.
  • 2. Each scan records country, city, device type, OS, browser and destination type (Android, iOS or website).
  • 3. Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics fire on each scan for retargeting and reach analysis.
  • 4. A dashboard organised by Brands → Campaigns → QR Codes, with an analytics page showing scan activity over time, top QR codes, device split, browser, OS, country and city.
  • 5. One-click CSV export of scan data for each QR code.
  • 6. Built with React on the front end, Node.js/TypeScript on the back end, and Supabase (Auth and Postgres).
The Impact

In its first weeks, the platform tracked 87 scans across 16 QR codes and 5 active campaigns. Scans came from 98% mobile devices, mostly in India (Mumbai and Hyderabad). Brands can now see which QR codes and posts bring in traffic.
